how do you change people who are assured they're right against evidence to the contrary outside of just like, planting seeds. my normal method is gardening but I'm looking for something that doesn't take someone vaguely resenting me for pushing back (very restrained) and then randomly popping back in years later saying "oh, turns out that was my bad" over and over and over and over and over

yeah, i guess i kinda ignored the point you were making 😅

i also wish it were easier to convince people of things, the line between disagreement and confrontation seems so thin.

how do you tell someone they’re wrong without telling them they’re wrong? and why is that sort of convolution necessary? and it seems like it is, even for things that are very straightforwardly true or false, because nobody likes being wrong
