i think my most platocore opinion is that one's goal as an artist should not be to convince people, it should be to construct arguments or images and throw them into the wind and let the listener learn what they may. from the artist side it's soo self-destructive and self-reductive to concern yourself about whether your art is making the world a better place. in a world where other people have internality, you can't make the twine game that will end fossil fuel emissions. you just gotta say true things, connect true images, use form to open logically shut arguments.
