When whatever cookie I had finally expired and they forced me to use the url x.com instead of twitter.com I knew that was my cue to finally close my one remaining account over there. I hope the few friends still lingering over there follow suit as well.
It's actually... not innocent, but there is an explanation besides just tracking. They're still using twitter flavored image domains despite forcing the main url to x.com, so images don't load at all because firefox thinks they're tracking bugs. (which you can see if you use an extension like OldTwitter 2024 that forces past that warning)
