From time to time I'll see someone describe something in Magic the Gathering as pro-trans, and then glibly say that the opposition is transphobic. And that's not true. It's an established point of lore in the Magic universe that transphobia is bad and the characters are not, and do not use transphobia as an axis of oppression, nor is one colour or another 'more inclined' to be transphobic. Every single different perspective, from every different position, has a reason to be trans-inclusive that is coherent with their existing philosophy, and this is just a roundup of the factions' visions of this from several years ago.
