cohost doesn't want to put numbers on posts. Cohost doesn't want a firehose for all posts.
I propose a compromise: a "killfeed" except it just shows likes and reshares but not of their targets. so if someone made a very good and or bad post, you'd see a stream of likes or rechoosts and have to detective your way to some form of clarity.
