I literally don't care if this guy is trying to advocate for "ethical" use of this shit, this is literally a fuckin advertisement for it from the CEO of a company who'll directly profit from that use, and again, from a guy whose entire job history is acquisitions and financial web startups. He's not here because he has game devs' interests in mind! He is selling his product! Why are you falling for this shit?

100% someone's getting paid for that. AI shit is a grift up until actual computer scientists. It's a rehash of going to conferences and listening to some moron prattle on about work flow and synergy like they're new ideas.

The sad truth: some specific game dev communities have people who focus on the non-art side of things and come at game dev with a different set of values. (Example: a local game dev meet up where a company that runs ads on game inventory trading sites gave a talk).

I 100% believe the CEO pitched this idea, and the editor did not react in disgust like us, but went "That sounds neat. And different than what we have now. Go for it!"
