because it seems like every executive just assumes things like "subcontractors are doing the same job for the same quality for the same price" even though every subcontractor fractally subcontracts and each management layer takes a vig
Tbh I assume this is a case where executives get rewarded for lowering costs and can shift blame when everything goes to hell as a result.
yeah but often things happen that make me think any given executive only thinks that they do that, and everyone else is running an honest business
wouldn't be surprised if they're all solipsists and don't think anyone else has a mind
