is it any wonder software devs over 45 have no patience or tact? they all bear the scars. Some of them still work with these fonts, saying anti-aliasing and syntax highlighting make the new generation soft and better able to read things
Yeah, but screens only had, like, a dozen pixels (by which I mean only tens of thousands) apiece, so you couldn't just Don Knuth your way through and talk about how everybody should have clear, legible fonts. Without the benefit of super-expensive industrial displays, that way only lies Comic Sans...
