I was gonna wait for bandcamp friday next month cus im just in the habit of that now but I am curious I what you think benefits most in terms of when to buy digital music rn
I really appreciate people buying on release day--I think seeing release day be less than I expected and not knowing whether people are just holding out for Bandcamp Friday, feels worse than the small percentage Bandcamp takes on non-Bandcamp Fridays. Bandcamp Friday (and my personal web store) are good options for people who understandably wanna avoid giving money to the weird Bandcamp owner company
I'm at some point planning to write a blog on like, the psychological effect of Bandcamp Friday lol. It's been a REALLY weird saga
