like is the limiting factor consumable cost, consumption rate, or size, or did we just never think of co2 as a problem before

like is the limiting factor consumable cost, consumption rate, or size, or did we just never think of co2 as a problem before
Whats the question exactly? As far as i know we dont really have these yet
they don't exist yet as far as I know, but I'm thinking about how, for example, the "box fan with 4-5 furnace filters" has a lot of dead space in the middle of the cube
Ahhh... See i have no idea, when i think of CO2 scrubbing i immediately think of the thing NASA supposedly made that uses a high speed air current and gold foil to break CO2 into carbon and O2 molecules at roughly 1% efficiency, so i got confused
whoa what. I bet that can be combined with airjet if they aren't vaporware https://liliputing.com/frores-airjet-cooling-technology-could-make-laptops-run-faster-cooler-and-quieter/
I think the air currents have to insanely fast but i like the way you think
Now that i think about it... Maybe not... I wonder if temperature affects the cohesion of stable CO2 particles...
Gonna go into a rabbithole now
don't unless you want to, I'd wait until we know the airjet is real and not just an investment scam (q3 this year i believe)
Oh i love rabbitholes, and its less about the airjet and about air velocity, thermodynamics and organic chemistry in general~
No direct answers BUT... In cold temps CO2 is artificially kire abundant as other gases contract and the general volume of CO2 remains the sane, so for that system it may be most efficient to run it with cold air to increase the volume of conversion~
Every other way to decompose CO2 seems to decompose it into CO and that is... Not helpful at all...
You won't be able to see this outside of notifications, but at least CO can be exhausted because of how heavy it is, though that adds more complexity.
a filtered ERV is more sensible if all you want to do is get fresh air; 45 lbs of Intersorb 812 is good for about three days of CO2 production by a single human but it costs $135.95. No idea if it can be regenerated, either
hmm. basically I'm thinking about how much dead space is inside a CR box
i can't wait until they make freestanding HRV units with like, freestanding air conditioner style window inlet ducting bodges
