you should play EVE online.

it's a safe place to hone your spying, and spyhunting techniques. You can practice evading barium tests with the most risk being "oh no i have to pay 20$ for another character that's got 8 years of skillpoints but their name is 'buttwiggle nuketime'". It lets you learn how to act under pressure. It teaches you how to control your vocal tone on teamspeak. It lets you easily run your own barium tests (Just run a few fleets for a few weeks, split into two channels for an arbitrary reason like "Trying to increase coordination" and then rotate the suspect per-day and compare against enemy fleet movements), and graduate to running your own spy ring.

or not, but like, EVE does have some pretty useful job skills, if you find the right group to play with and have some goals of your own.
