with a statically typed language and intellisense and snippets going for broke with some smart sorting and filtering you could be seriously productive...
yes now think about populating it's snippets with most-commonly-used from github copilot instead of doing the thing it currently does
'its like coding with pseudocode' but not in the python sense, instead in the abstract building blocks sense.
I think people hate scratch because it was a few years too early. if it was a tablet-first language I think it might have taken off.
