on Android there's a setting people apparently keep accidentally triggering that calls 911, five power button presses and then a confirmation swipe.

anyway it's been in the news and reminded me that people probably don't know this:

that number doesn't have to be your country's emergency number, you can change it. Mine calls and texts my lawyer, or if I'm away from home, texts my lawyer and calls the NLG

this doesn't override the normal emergency call swipe



Are there any good notification managers? (looking for Android and Linux)

they're too easy to dismiss, and notification priority is all over the place. I'd love a way to categorize mine per app, and have a notifications log that's kinda closer to a todo app.

my biggest problem is losing notifications, and right now i make important ones also email me, like calendar events or texts. but that hella pollutes my email inbox
