btw the vanlife secret is that if you have a vanlife channel people will give you all the gear you need but the van to try and sell others on the life. pyramid schemes are everywhere and they're just one step removed now.

this is true for pretty much every thing. but that one especially. the expenses just don't really work out unless you're getting half of your gear for nothing.

but like, anything people haven't used a thing for more than a year with? they probably were handed it in exchange for the review or recommendation

I used to rock the keys on carabiner thing, but now I want like... a longer quickdraw. So everything can stay in my pocket and I don't have to detach it to use for keys.

"lanyard" would work but I'm really looking for like... just a loop I can put carabiners on the ends of. And "lanyard" is a keyword overwhelmed with literal garbage.

it needs to fit two carabiners, ideally with captive loops on either end, and be at least a foot long
