But don't think for a second that leadership is some inherent skill that some people have and some people don't. That's how you get led down bad paths. If someone says they're a leader, but they can't do basic tenents of leadership, always be wary if you absolutely have to stay there.

in the same way, all skills are muscles, and people saying you can't do them are, generally, wrong. the limiting factor is the amount of time and discipline you can dedicate, even if it's long arc ADHD stuff where you pick it up every few months. you just gotta do it if you want to do it, and you'll think your work is bad at the start in different ways you think it's bad at the end

everyone started stumbling, most of them didn't do it in public. beware of the ones who haven't ever stumbled, or refuse to admit it.
