I've been thinking about that @pauliegram post about Andor and The Empire Strikes Back, and realized that there was only just over a year (410 days) between the release of Gundam, and The Empire Strikes Back.
Our world would be different in so many ways, if the time was reversed, and Gundam came out in 1981.
