Seriously, the vet couldn't even finish examining her because she becomes a little demon with the strength of a medium dog and the plasticity of an octopus

as soon as we came back she jumped out of her carrier and ate the spat out food/xanax, so she'll have a chill night after a stressful day I guess

Like, dogs are a lot more work in general, you can't leave 'em for a weekend with a litter box and some food and water, etc, but being able to give them literally anything in some peanut butter is amazing.

i worked at an animal shelter for a few years and i have a genuine respect/fear of what cats are capable of when they really, really do not want to be somewhere. it only takes trying to fight a flying feral cat with a glorified butterfly net once to never want to do that again.
