Guess who went from an over-invested Neurocracy player to a plotting game master?
It's ✨me✨!
See you next July, with a whole new bunch of secrets to unravel, wikipedia holes to fall into and... a conspiracy board? 👀📌
Oh boi do I have a surprise for you:
Neurocracy is a set of sci-fi mystery stories that are all interconnected. Your initial goal is to solve a murder that happened in 2049, and the only document you have access to is the Wikipedia of the future. Once you start digging, each possible answer will only unravel more worrying mysteries, hiding in plain sight.
My favorite things about Neuro:
- every technology presented is rooted in actual academic research, and most of them already exist
- political events are realistic to the point that we have a specific meme for saying that "Neurocracy predicted the future again"
- Efrim Waite. 🥵
Everything is freely accessible in your browser: omnipedia.app 🔗
There's a whole lot of new stuff coming out in July, as @playthroughline's explains in this teaser:
went from "hmm looks interesting" to 30hs later having 15 tabs open and tracking changes in each article, muttering to myself things like:
"HMMM how convenient for them🤨"
"But why would they delete this paragraph...? UNLESS"
"Of course they fucking knew each other"
And other phrases only suitable to be uttered while wrapping red string around pins on a corkboard
10/10 would recommend
