Like Google Assistant:
Sometimes, it sends me a push notification letting me know I need to leave in the next ten minutes to make it on time to an event. It does this by crawling through my email in search of receipts, figuring out which receipts are for tickets for an event (or for a plane/train), plotting where the location of the event is vs. my home, and taking into account that I usually walk or take public transportation. And it's very accurate, but it only does it sometimes, and not for events on my calendar.
I have shitty brain syndrome, these notifications are useful! Which is why I wish I could ask google to do the same thing with events on my calendar. I used to be able to do that (and I used to be able to tell it to explicitly assume I would be walking or taking public transportation vs driving). But now I can't. Now the only version of this very useful feature that exists is one that I have no control over and that is more invasive.
Or I used to be able to tell it "change screen settings" or something and it would take me to the relevant settings. Now it just shows me search results on how to navigate there.
Why? It's still syphoning off all of my user data, maybe even at a higher rate than before, so why make it less useful?
