That sounds fantastic! A few Halloweens ago, I attended a showing of Nosferatu (1922) that was live-scored by a local metal guitarist and it was really cool. Is this a trend? It should be a trend.

For real? I guess it's nice that they waited, or mayb it's not nice that they made you wait. One or the other.
That's really cool! I once saw Haxan (1922) with a piano player, and it was nice.

Fortunately it wasn't just 40 minutes of silence, the organ player and the representative from the silent film society talked a bit about the movie and the score, so it was a pretty good atmosphere lol

It's just such a cool way to experience these movies! Both true to the original experience and new every time, like all live performance (plus the musicians tend to put their own flavor into things)
