  • The Fall of Hyperion - Dan Simmons
  • Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen
  • House of Leaves - Mark Z. Danielewski
  • Moby Dick - Herman Melville
  • Les Miserables - Victor Hugo
  • Unlanguage - Michael Cisco
  • Stay Inspired: Finding Motivation For Your Creative Work - Brandon Stosuy
  • The Wind's Twelve Quarters - Ursula K. Leguin

What, all at the same time? Wouldn't it be easier and faster to finish one book and then read the next?

Yeah, it's a nightmare in here1

in reply to @NoelBWrites's post:

It's my first time reading it and I didn't know what to expect (my knowledge of English language "classics" is very spiky lol)... and I love it so much. It's so funny. It's so good. It's SO gay.

I'm going slow because it's through the Whale Weekly newsletter and savoring every email

What's the second one you love?

I finished Hyperion last week and I loved it way more than I thought I would. Enough to immediately start the sequel lol

I just started House of Leaves and is very good so far

And definitely read Moby Dick! It's beautiful but also way funnier than I was expecting?

i'm also (re)reading the whole hyperion series, fall of hyperion was my first grown-up scifi and has a special place in my heart. hope it's treating you well!
