Biologist Deon Gilbert says this month's Victorian release of 70 juveniles from a spotted tree frog breeding pool is incredibly heartwarming. Researchers have bred 800 spotted tree frogs from 26 they collected in north-east Victoria in 2021.
They have released the first 70 of those frogs into the wild.
