To clarify: I did have permission, I was checking what kind of soil we were dealing with in order to plant a pollinator garden but like.... nobody else knew that! I wasn't even wearing a hi-vis vest, let alone anything that would mark me as affiliated with the park or the city in any way. I'm just some rando with a shovel and a clipboard
