why did two of my classes choose to have us watch videos instead of reading something this is the worst information delivery system for me 
(I get reading is harder than listening for other people that are not me and I am glad instructors are not catering only to a single way of learning, I'm just being whiny about a personal annoyance)
Always glad to see someone else of the "couldn't this be an essay" school of information processing. Kind of glad they still hadn't quite ditched chalkboards when I was in uni, I'd have floundered worse with video.
like with an essay I can write my own notes on the margin or on my own page but in response to the information presented.
With a video I have to first note down the information and then actually process it and it's so annoying. I can't "scan" a video for specific info the same way I can do with a text
