There's currently a corgi in a backpack in the building and every time I see it I make noises so high pitched they can only be heard by the corgi in the backpack
when the little man was smaller (and the plague had not yet hit) we used to take him to the grocery store with us and people would absolutely lose their minds at tiny-dog-in-a-backpack. he didn't like it, but he managed, and we could zip it up if he got really scared
he only fit in that backpack because he was incredibly underweight at the time and we have since donated it to a local chi rescue. when I have to take him to the store these days I just carry him like a baby, because he is in fact just baby
