Fuck, is coughing all the time a covid thing? I thought it was my allergies or some ENT shit I don't understand.
It can be, especially if it started after a COVID infection. COVID can fuck with your lung tissue, but it can also fuck with your immune system and make you more susceptible to allergies or to other infections
My doctor mentioned the allergy thing and I have noticed more extreme reactions after getting it that one time.
Fucking sucks because I genuinely did wear a mask and I barely go out. I think I just got it from family somehow.
I'm sorry. It does fucking suck, especially because we can "do everything right" and still depend on others also doing everything right me we can't account for luck
But if you're still masking and trying to reduce your chance of reinfection, you're also reducing your chances of getting worse long term symptoms
You can get reinfected? I thought once you had it you had like, immune cells or- idk I'm not really smart.
Hey I promise it's not you, most health organizations fucked up messaging for the pandemic and the media is useless
Yes you can get reinfected, COVID mutates rapidly so even if you get a slight resistance to a specific variant, you may get a new one. (Like the flu, but uh... Faster)
Well, shit. I haven't really kept track of boosters or whatever. I think my pharmacy might now. I definitely need more I'm sure.
Yeah, again it's not your fault because guidance is so inconsistent and there were issues with stock and whatnot... Ideally we would all be getting boosters every six months. But masking in crowded/indoor places is very effective as well
I think the free 2 be sick canada one on the drive has a mistake, it has graphs saying both 1 on 5 people have long COVID and 1 in 9 people have long COVID
I'm not the one that made the posters, it's @covidrealism on Instagram. They have their sources and if there's a mistake, I'm sure they'll want to know
