I think limiting describing media just as 'good' or 'bad' is a massive disservice to explaining if it is still actually worth engaging with. Everything can still have merit regardless of where it falls on the X and Z axes, so long as it's not seeping down into boring.
Edit: Also 'boring' not necessarily to be conflated with something that is slow or calm but still engaging.
Proposed axes:
weird ↔ expected
horny ↔ chaste
pleasant ↔ unpleasant
first post still applies: media can fall anywhere on these as long as it doesn't dip into boring
