Nostalginaut

My latest long-weekend obsession was surprisingly productive.

I learned a lot through trial and error with these "rough cuts" of a "Big Bads" series of paintings that I've wanted to make for a while, but didn't think I'd ever get around to - let alone actually succeed with.

I think I'm going to be happy to hang these up. In fact, I think I'm going to be happy to continue painting these things (though I'm almost through with the pack of canvases I bought...).

Go, me, I guess.

I got carried away.

Although my hand becomes ever unsteady, I decided to try painting the "Big Bads" of some games I enjoyed from years past.

I still don't know about this last one (Xagor). I don't think I have anything for lines this fine.
