I was introduced to star wars via muppet babies. for the next 15 years I kept trying to watch the movies and I kept seeing parts of Empire Strikes Back on TNT or USA or TBS network or whatever, but I NEVER managed to see all of it at once. I had seen New Hope and Return in full before I managed to actually see Empire all the way through, which somehow added to its mystique in my brain. I was constantly trying to figure out how everything threaded together. in fact, it might have been the turn-of-the-century theatrical re-releases when I finally got to see the whole thing
