I've heard people talk about the Lunar series but with the second syllable emphasized. Do...do you know why people would do that?
The official English dubs pronounced it that way. I'm not really clear why, or if they had any guidance from the original devs telling them to do it that way. In Japanese it's just ルナ.
It's not even just the dubs, the documentary bonus stuff used lun-AR too, so that's why I've stuck with it myself
