Exciting things happening over in the math world. They've invented a new integer, Four 2 that sits half way between 4 and 5—but only when doing addition.
This will not impact multiplication at all as 4x4 will still be 16 and √25 will still be 5.
When asked whether this might caused any problems, mathematicians replied:
nah, it's all good

i need some clarification. does "sits halfway between 4 and 5 when doing addition" mean:
4 + 1 = 4₂
4₂ + 1 = 5
or does it mean
4 + ½ = 4₂
4₂ + ½ = 5
Sorry, I should have been clearer. The former. 4 + ½ is still 4.5 (I guess, notably, it isn't 4.4₂
