I mean, a lot of the way people and institutions have responded to COVID is eugenics, but this is substantially more overtly an attempt to make it impossible for disabled people (or people who care not to become disabled, which at this point is functionally a disability in and of itself) to exist in public or even survive. Truly unfathomably evil.

It's an impressively written approach, too (I live "next door," so I read through in case I need to visit), including just enough qualifications to suggest that they totally support public health, but put all responsibility for deciding health benefits on cops. As a result, it's almost certainly "for health reasons" to wear a mask in most of Port Washington and Syosset, and "for crime" in Hempstead.
