it's just an indie philosophy that economics means almost no one ever gets to embrace. thank you tactical nexus devs for doing whatever the fuck you want, lmao

additional quotes from this post:
"Basically, our priorities are as follows.
Staff egos > Heavy users who play for a long time > New players."

"the DLC after Chapter-6 is aimed at destroying the lives of those who have been fooled by the game by sending them a huge amount of content, just like Dragon Ball's Yakon, and then blowing them up."

team nexus singlehandedly justifying the continued existence of that one social media site. they are a treasure.

p.s. they have previously described Chain Tactical Canyon as "pretty easy" "ok for early players" and such like that. lies lies lies lies lies.

Staff egos first, as god intended. The tactical nexus staff's lack of concern for how games are "supposed" to be done has led to some pretty terrible decisions (DLC Pricing, oh no) but I am so glad that they are doing their thing.

I'm so glad they're doing whatever they want, and in the same breath I am going to do my best never to learn what a tactical nexus is because this sounds so antithetical to my desires for games to play. Not everything has to be for me, and that is beautiful, and I encourage it.
