I wish I was some sort of superhero, where I could fly around and shoot masks onto people's faces. There. That's gonna save more lives that people trying to pretend a pandemic is over when it ain't.

Seriously, masks won't kill you. Covid will. LongCovid, which I have, is a neurological and vascular illness. I got a whole damn database of the damage it does to our bodies. It's horrific. Stop Blindly Following Eugenics Policies And Care About Others. Stop Falling For Defeatism. Wear The Damn Mask.

Anyone not wearing a mask right now? Stop saying that "We Keep Us Safe.' No You Fucking Don't. If you can't wear a damn mask (or equivalent), then you keep no one safe. You are actively helping the eugenics policies our current "leaders" are enacting on us. It's violence. It's oppressive. Stop Being An Oppressor.

Do better. (Because I'd like to not be fucking isolated from society and from friends and from family for the rest of my life. Because that's what y'alls selfish actions are doing to people like me. Millions being erased and eliminated for what? Y'all to spread disease and kill/disable more? I'm so pissed about this. Three years in isolation. Three fucking years.)

Masks

I love the shit out of my flo mask (https://flomask.com/) and attribute it to my success at avoiding covid this year. In my department at work (public school in Canada) I am the only one out of 7 people who has yet to have covid generally, and avoided it completely when everyone got it in the fall.

It unfortunately is not an accessible mask given the steep cost, my partner and I spent about $250 Canadian on two masks and a pack of replacement filters.

Elastomeric masks are basically all I'm going to fuck with on a regular basis. There are potentially cheaper types of elastomerics around but I haven't looked into them after I bought the flo.

I havent stopped wearing my mask, it isnt over, and i still have plans to complete my fully filtered respirator helmet, im a little pissed off that hazmat suits werent government subsidized and handed out to folks.

My roommate/bestfriend and I are still locked down because she has multiple risk factors and I'm not a complete piece of shit. No single raindrop thinks they're responsible for the flood, and there's a lot of fucking raindrops out there who think they are special and don't need to do the right thing.

I used violet and purple acrylic paint. Violet was for the edges of the hard shell. That part was the hardest to paint as I didn't want it to touch any of the removeable parts like the filters. Then I added the purple for the middle of the hard shell exterior, then added a violet layer in a strip in the midst of that purple. It blended very nicely I think. I thought about adding some stars or spikes with glue, but painting wore me out. lol

I don't see hardly anybody wearing masks out anymore. I'm resigned to just wearing mine out forever now. I'm just waiting for the day someone tries to give me shit about it in public so I have license to eviscerate them.
