This was cute! The only thing I didn't really like was how he considered she was cheating on him instead of just asking how it was possible
I figured a human with only cursory understanding of magic and only having met one intelligent non-human being would rush to the most scientifically logical explanation first, as a kneejerk reaction. Its also likely some bleed off of my insecurities
Oh yeah it makes sense why he would ask it, I just really enjoy the sort of thing where two partners trust each other wholeheartedly
