it can't JUST be me and frank zappa
you're not the first person to tell me this.
i saw a documentary that said something like 10% of people will have an allergic reaction to it. most of it will be really mild but it can be dangerous for a very few people.
and for an even fewer number of people, chemically addictive like opioids level addictive.
I have a good local friend who has tried weed on several separate occasions and never enjoyed it once. They tried again after a long interval, because they were hoping that maybe it'd help with chronic pain issues, but the same problem resurfaced: it just makes them feel weird and sick, and that's that. so...yeah, it's a thing I guess! ~Chara
Weed and alcohol are system depressants. Part of what that does is depress your brain! So you can feel sadder/more anxious/etc taking them.
If you're on any sort of psych meds, you might end up super-depressed after a drink or two. You need to talk to your psych to figure out what is a "safe" number of drinks you can have before it starts making you feel bad.
I have friends who've done weed and have had no effects. I've had friends only have panic attacks. And I've had friends that felt super suicidal because of weed (so none of them do weed anymore). The nice thing about weed being still technically illegal is that it's not socially expected of you to partake in it. But pretty much every party or event is going to have alcohol and the assumption that you're going to drink. So being made to drink, even if you don't want to, can also make you feel awful.
Weed always does this, i dont kmow why i think i need to give it so many tries, may e desoeration to get away from chronic pain? Either way it makes me nauseous
