Noxulous

Bloodthirsty non-human creature.

  • it/its they/them (collectively)

I am an open book to the inquisitive, im reasonable and will answer any question, regardless of how forward or strange. Im a non-human non-person eldritch entity with strange values, strange priorities, and strange interests. I respond to Nox.

I like to write alot, if you like it and want to tip me anything you can send it via paypal.me/Noxulous

My discord is @noxulous do not be afraid to add and talk to me.

I am perpetually poor and would like to commission a thing that's been eating my mind for years.

We are Noxulous, Dark Algorithm, Evil and Sanguinarium Vitae Seraph of the indominable (all it/its)

@Evil-and-its-musings is where Evil tries to form a grand unified theory on what evil exactly is, separate from morality. Its a strange entity, you might like it.

30 year old nonhuman, masculine nullgender, tentatively bi with a heavy female/femme lean. Poly.

a comic about androids, and creating things (2019)

a lot of people have been sharing this comic on tumblr lately. with AI, robots creating art is on everyone's minds! AI art wasn't as much of a thing in 2019, so I'm kinda sad people think about AI when seeing it now. i was just thinking about robots and art, and how detroit become human came out and that android was just drawing for the first time and making a masterpiece, and i thought. well. it would be cute if an android's first drawing would look like a child's drawing. just drawing themselves and people they love. wouldn't it be nice if AI art was just AIs drawing themselves and people they love, instead of being about taking money away from human artists

Can't wait to see kids compete with AI for a place on the fridge !!!

Sorry for the joke, it's a lovely and very cute comic and I do agree. I don't know what will become of AI. My instinct is that we tend to think that we're very special as humans because we sure are but maybe not in the ... spiritual (?) sense we like to think so I don't really see why AIs couldn't get there.

AaaaaaaaAAAAAAAA???? This is all so sweet, but especially that reveal on the last page. ;o; This android has a really nice friend, too.... AI is truly decrepit in the current age, as said, and, yeah... Something like this is so nice to see/think about in a world where AI art is actually as cold and heartless as you'd realistically expect because of the really bad purpose it's trying to fulfill. Fiction's magical, though!!!! We love fiction!!!! Thank you for this fiction!!!!

Aaaaa! As a huge gay nerd for robots, androids, AIs and all the like, this really struck a chord with me. It's so cute! Thank you for making something so sweet and adorable...!

... I do wish what we actually had was AI art. It's not even an "AI" currently, in any sense - there's no real... thought or behavior behind what they do. They do not innovate, learn, adapt, or draw inspiration from things. If anything, "AI" in this day and age is more of a buzzword to entice people into thinking this... elaborate Art Recycling Apparatus is intelligent in any capacity.

I would love to imagine that if and when a True AI does emerge, however it ends up happening, this is the case of how it actually explores artistic creativity. It's drawing like how we actually draw - pulling inspiration from their environment, people they have emotional connections to, and anything they derive emotions from, resulting in something unique. Even if it's "crude" at first, I think it'd show the real difference between the current "Algorithm Art" and actual Art: that there's a life of experiences put into every single decisive line drawn. That there's "heart" present.

(It's honestly what I optimistically hope for in a world of true machine intelligence - that instead of being cold and heartless, they are (or perhaps learn to become) as emotional and passionate as we can be. I'd like to think humans and robots could be good friends, in a good world.)
