English needs a personal plural pronoun besides “I” and “we”. Something that can be used when talking about how your 12-year-old self and current self both enjoy a tv show. Or for talking about how your current self and past selves over the last few days keep forgetting to lock the door. Using “I” doesn’t seem to convey this idea of the inclusion of separate parts.
