Favourite modern game and favourite retro game?
Not sure how accurate this'll be considering I have too many favourites and they shift around a lot, but I'll give you something-!
For modern games, I'd probably go with... Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night~!
I'm kinda cheating here, as it's a very much retro-style game in many ways, but it's still somewhat recent... I love the visual style of it (VERY NICE GOTH AESTHETIC~), music, super addictive gameplay, randomization features, characters, list goes on-! ♥
Have sunk hundreds of hours into it. Oopsie.
Was tempted to go with something like Zelda TotK, as it's very much been one of my therapy games since release, but no.1 spot still goes to Bloodstained as it's more personal for me. >:3c

Mm. Suppose I have to go with 1997's Rockman X4 / Megaman X4;;;
It had an insane impact on me when I was a small thing. All my childhood notebooks had drawings of the characters, items and locations. Know it inside-out, love the pixel art, music, sfx, gameplay, 90's anime, everything to death. I would not say it's an objectively flawless game or anything, but it was made with passion and it shows.
I play through it like 10 times a year, could probably go for a pretty good speedrun at this point too if I would dare to record one;;;
