Formerly (working) titled Sheppard & You, in Sometimes The Mountain Buries You you are the veterinarian for a small town, regularly visited by the monster Sheppard. You know acting on your desires will upheave your intentionally quiet life but a strange happening makes you realize Sheppard will never safely fit into your intentionally quiet life.
Sometimes The Mountain Buries You started as a few paragraphs written during a migraine. After writing to an end point (chapter one), I had a follow-up (chapter two), and then I kept going. Around chapter four I realized I was writing a novella. Subsequently, the initial chapters don’t reflect the pacing and writing style of the rest of the novella.
Sometimes The Mountain Buries You will be edited as a complete work and made available in multiple digital formats, in the meantime it’s available on cohost in this draft state and will remain so after the edited version is made available.
