This is the first thing I wrote after half a decade of not being able to write. And it’s a whole novella? Fuckin’ wild. I’m really happy with it, I’m really aware it’s a draft, I’m really glad I can write again.

Bingo! Sometimes The Mountain Buries You got real close to a double bingo on my personal writing tropes card.

This is what Sometimes The Mountain Buries You looks like on my computer. I’d write a chapter in a plain text full height window and on completion would shorten it to the next level of cascading windows so I could click through them easy enough. I’m not certain how this happened but I guess it worked for me.

All twenty chapters of Sometimes The Mountain Buries You, in narrow plain text files that are arranged in a descending cascade, showing the title bar for each chapter. Each chapter is saved with the chapter number followed by the first sentence of the chapter.

This is probably at least one person’s nightmare.
