I genuinely think that latter effect is due to some very big fish growing in a relativly smaller pond. There are amazing amazing artists this community, and theres some that stand out super high! But the macro world of non-comissioned, non-fetishized, and most importantly, not sought after very very specifically for a specific reason is so SO vast that its much harder to find a voice
