This is my weekly update post, cross-posted to both Patreon and Cohost, detailing the progress I've made on my Let's Plays. More below!
Zero Escape: 999
The last week of Coffin end has been almost fully uploaded for Patrons, and I have begun recording the Safe end. We're coming up on the end of the game now. All the pieces falling into place. I love how the story comes together in general, but this particular ending order is delightful for the way it drip feeds the key bits of info to you.
In some ways I wish I had Sub ending as the third ending instead of as the first ending (what with Seven's story and all), but it also gives overall the least amount of information about what happened on the ship in the present day so. It went first. You could also see Sub as giving those initial nuggets to keep you hooked and wondering how everything ties together.
Final Fantasy XIV
Thank god we are finally away from Trachtoum. Now it's Wheiskaet's turn to give us the unnecessary run around.
For side quests this week I was going to record Costa del Sol, but turns out more than I expected are locked behind more main story progress. So instead I did Hatching-tide!
Twitch
Yeah... Twitch isn't working out. I've never been a fan of watching streams (too much active commitment for my ADHD brain - I like being able to watch a portion at a time and come back to it later). I have a similar issue with being the streamer.
I think I'm going to ditch having a regular schedule and instead just announce streams day-of when I feel I have the time and energy to do a stream. Let myself be more flexible with it. Don't commit to things that I don't have the energy for.
Stream announcements should be simultaneous on both Patreon and Cohost.
Miscellaneous
Patrons may have noticed a slight shift in upload schedule! The original intent was to begin uploading FFXIV the day after I record it. I'm experimenting with a regular schedule that would be compatible with my eventual work schedule, which means recording FFXIV in the evening and not having the time to upload til the next morning. All's good, just experimenting and preparing for my internship at Insomniac to start.
That being said, I'm being impacted by the Adderall shortage in the US. It's hitting me hard in a bad way. If my upload schedule for Patrons is a little funky for a while... I apologize. I'm doing my best.
Still chugging through the ARR Relic Weapons on my main on FFXIV. If I can get those done before patch 6.4 releases on May 23rd (estimated based on past trends), I'll be ecstatic. But the Trials of the Braves suck. So it's unlikely I will finish until well after 6.4 releases.
Coming Up
Continuing the Coffin ending in Zero Escape! Our travails in the Titan arc bring us to new locales! Hopefully revenge against Jirachi in Explorers of Sky!
