I am so thoroughly enjoying Explorers of Sky so far. It is scratching several, VERY specific itches that I didn't realize I had.
It's unfortunate that in high school I, under the impression that I would never play it myself, looked up a plot synopsis. Thankfully not much stuck, but some significant details DID stick. I've been sharing what bits and pieces I think I remember with my partner (dakoriolf/ @Gleam-Oria ) and our friend Whisker Biscuit, but obviously they're not telling me what actually happens and how much of my memory is accurate. Pretty sure they're discussing it in DMs, I'll have to get their discussions out of them once I've finished the game.
I'm also annoyed at Twitch, as Twitch has a synopsis of the game that I accidentally stumbled upon while doing some backend work after a stream and the synopsis includes what appears to be a massive spoiler. A spoiler which was hinted at in one of the chapters I played through today. So. Yay. Thanks Twitch.
I am enjoying the game so much that I actually really want to stream even more of it tomorrow. If I'm able to, we'll be doing the second side story and the end of chapter 10. I think I know what's coming up, thanks to the small tidbits I remember from reading the plot synopsis 10 years ago. And I am excited.
