i got moisturizer :)

hoping this helps with the leg and ankle itchiness. i noticed the skin was super dry and kinda scaly so i am thinking the itchiness could be coming from that.

i have moisturized my ankles and feet. also moisturized my elbows cause they have been chronically dry for over a decade

update: 15 minutes after applying moisturizer to my feet, the nerves in my feet are actually functioning???

I can FEEL things with them?????

MY FEET WEREN'T THAT BAD WERE THEY????

Update: absolutely ZERO itching last night. Day one a success, it very much seems like the itchiness was a side effect of my feet being super dry.

Will continue moisturizing daily for a bit and see if this is coincidental or if the itching really does stop long term

in reply to @OniLink's post:

Another thing to check with scaly-seeming feet is athlete's foot. For a while I had been moisturizing what felt like dry feet and eventually a doctor ended up telling me actually what had been happening with my skin down there was athlete's foot fungal problems.

Obviously real checking is better than online medical anecdotes! Just relaying my experience, because I didn't think it looked like what I thought that condition looked like either. But once I got the right treatment applied the relief was long term!
