DRG has a terrible ending and PGL has the insufferably horny old man Hamon.
I don't wholly dislike Hamon, he is funny, but he's also... too horny for me
Archer is at least sympathetic to Leih and calls out Silvairre as being in the wrong, even though I am disappointed at the lack of Silvairre being held accountable.
And PLD isn't that bad in ARR. It had potential that it didn't fully utilize.
I still don’t think it’s “not that bad” enough to be in the same tier as DRG
ARR DRG consists of:
"You're looking for a thief, so you're gonna just do a few training exercises. Then you team up with the thief to fight a boss that you clearly aren't going to actually fight because that's way too big of a plot thread, and then the thief vanishes and betrays you so hard that it had to be retconned in the next expansion"
The fact that it all leads up to an anticlimax that got retconned in the very next expac kinda sours it for me
