any other autistic people terrified of telling the truth (whether that be "lying by omission" or outright lying)
because you're so used to neurotypicals making assumptions instead of taking you at your word
and so if you tell the truth about something they always ALWAYS assume it's way worse than what you're actually saying
so like what's even the point of saying anything
I have the opposite problem. I'm not good at lying at all, I struggle even to keep my mouth shut sometimes ... and yet I swear somehow this seems at times to even more solidly convince people I must be making shit up.
