This is my monthly update post, cross-posted to both Patreon and Cohost, detailing the progress I've made on my Let's Plays. More below!
Mega Man Battle Network 2
The finale of Battle Network 2's main story releases... this Friday! We've come to the end at last! Quite a bit longer than Battle Network 1, but also very improved in many respects. Highly enjoyed this game.
I am making progress on the post-game. Currently have up through episode 52 recorded and it's going pretty smoothly. Looks like the post game story will conclude in episode 60, and the finale of the game will be episode 69.
The post-game will begin going live on YouTube after LP #014 concludes, but $5+ patrons can see it early!
LP #014
The next Let's Play after Battle Network 2 has been decided and I have begun working on it. We're already 6 episodes in, it's going well, and I'm trying something a little bit different for this one too! I'm excited!
It likely will be a fairly short game, I'm only expecting around 24 episodes... but the "something different" will double that to 48! In fact, there's a good chance that that "something different" will keep going for a while after the Let's Play ends...

LP #015
Ok I'm not gonna be coy about this one. It's In Stars and Time. I played it in December 2023 and this game just... consumed my brain. Easily my Game of the Year for 2023. I've started recording it, I'm making progress, I have no idea how long it'll be. My initial playthrough was 30 hours. I intend to take it even slower for the LP. So... maybe around 75+ episodes? It's gonna be a lengthy one. But it will be worth it.
Please please please check it out, whether you check out the Let's Play or the game itself. In fact, buy the game if you like the Let's Play of it. Please support indie devs!
The In Stars and Time Let's Play will begin after LP #014 ends, at the same time the MMBN2 post-game begins going live on YouTube. Like the MMBN2 post-game, $5+ patrons can see episodes early (as in right now!).
All I will say about the game for now:
- It is a game that is FAR BETTER when you go in knowing as little as possible. Do not spoil yourself, opt to drop the Let's Play early in favor of playing it yourself.
- Basic back-of-the-box premise is you play as Siffrin, an RPG character at the end of their adventure, who finds himself in a time loop in the final dungeon.
- It is comparable to (but very distinct from) games like Earthbound and Undertale.
- This is a game about mental health. It opens on content warnings. Take the content warnings SERIOUSLY.
- Y'all this game is so queer it wears its queerness on its sleeve and I love that.
Final Fantasy XIV
Patch 2.1 is coming to a close, and I have begun working on patch 2.2! Unfortunately certain pieces of content near the end of patch 2.1 took an exceptionally long time which has left me very far behind. I am working on catching up! The recordings are all caught up as-of today, it's just... editing and uploading. I'm so tired...
Anyways, patch 2.1 ends next week on YouTube, then it'll be a two week break before patch 2.2. Just to give me time to catch up fully.
I am greatly enjoying everything, I just got my ass kicked by Titan, no big deal.
Miscellaneous
I'm... more than a little stressed about the job hunt! I have been applying to numerous jobs per day every day since early September/late August but I have so far had only one job interview and despite it going well I did not get the job. My field laid off 260,000 people last year and 25,000 people this month. I am stressed. I am not happy. Retail is not hiring in my area currently so I can't even find a freaking filler job. Help. If I can make it to March I have a lead that's hiring then but that's still only seasonal work.
In Stars and Time still has not exited my brain. I have been consumed. The Let's Play approaches.
The GAY static is continuing our Pandaemonium (Savage) raiding! We recently cleared P4S and have begun P5S. Come hang out with us on my Twitch on Fridays and Sundays at 2pm US Pacific! We're doing reclears on Fridays and prog on Sundays!
Coming Up
Battle Network 2 ends this week! Final Fantasy XIV finishes patch 2.1 and will begin patch 2.2 at the back half of the month! LP #014 is coming soon, and LP #015 and the MMBN2 post-game are in-progress and will begin after LP #014 ends!
