Also, an important point I think: Given the previous info they have posted about the salaries they are paying themselves, the vast, vast (probably talking on order of 90% or so) majority of the ongoing expenses is payroll-associated. Unless basically everyone quits cohost plus, the money running out does not mean "the site shuts down", it means "development stops and it stays in the state it currently is"
exactly! i saw at least one person saying that staff was unwise to say that "more users could fix the problem" because "more users means higher expenses"
and like... yes... but the added cost of one user is insignificant, and drastically negative compared to an industry standard 2-5% conversion rate, or a cohost level 8-11% conversion rate.
