This is my monthly update post, cross-posted to both Patreon and Cohost, detailing the progress I've made on my Let's Plays. More below!
Sonic Adventure
Sonic Adventure has begun! And just like that it's also nearly over, at least on my end. Sonic's story has finished on YouTube, while in recording I am nearly at the end of the sixth story. I actually record the finale tomorrow!
I would normally have the poll for the next LP up at this point, but given the next LP has already been decided by my autism, we're not doing that this time around. Next LP poll will go up when I'm getting ready to finish the Battle Network 2 post-game, and whatever game is voted for will start either near the end of or just after the ending of In Stars and Time.
It's been fun revisiting this game! It has some issues, but I've been pretty giddy about nearly the entire thing so! The Chao Garden has been fun too. Chao Garden will go on a break when Sonic Adventure's main story ends, but it will come back as its own series at some point, likely in addition to whatever other LPs I am working on.
In Stars and Time
Continuing to make good progress on In Stars and Time. Still in act 2 as-of episode 20, likely won't finish act 2 until episode 27 or so. Getting quite a few side quests out of the way early which is a relief. Act 3 is going to be a rather wild ride, after all. Having those early side quests done with will help streamline that a bit.
Oh and I found a few conversations in act 2 I wasn't aware even existed and AAAAAA. I love this game.
Mega Man Battle Network 2
At this point, I have half of the post-game finished and am taking a break. I will return to working on it once Sonic Adventure is done, so this coming weekend!
For future Battle Network games, I am going to take a far, far slower pace. Maintain the same 3-a-week upload schedule, but only record two episodes per week. Naturally this won't be great for the buffer, but I'm also going to let the end of each chapter serve as a "break point", where public uploads will take a break until I either have a 4 week buffer again or I have reached the next break point in recording.
Final Fantasy XIV
We are nearly done with patch 2.2! All that's really left is the high-end content (Extreme Trials and Binding Coils), then I can begin recording patch 2.3 which will begin once the full 4 week buffer is ready. I am predicting patch 2.3 will begin going live for YouTube around May 13th, same time In Stars and Time and Battle Network 2 post-game begin.
Miscellaneous
Eurgh. March was a rough month for me. A really rough month. I survived though. One job lead fell through, but I got a few more in its place. Other stressors have been at play. I'm practicing a few mindfulness techniques to try and help me manage. Time will tell how successful they are.
